He Shoulda Got A Corner Office
James Pacenza, of New York, is taking IBM to court and looking for a $5 million payoff. Good Lord, what could he have done that made his employer fire him, he says to himself.
"I was only expressing myself during one of my many 'down periods' during my shift."
Oh, the humanity..
Old Jimbo figures he shoulda got a corner office, it seems. I can remember way back in '64 filling out an employment application at IBM and how difficult it was to get beyond the receptionist's desk - it musta got a little easier to get hired by IBM since then, I suppose.
I didn't see my best friend killed in Vietnam, but I remember as a kid seeing my dog being run over right in front of my eyes. Of course, I never had the forethought back then to sue the City of Toronto for allowing a road to be built right in front of my parents house.
