AVG Anti Virus Users
Thanks to cyberfriend John Corliss from alt.comp.freeware I was reminded of an option in AVG that most people would easily forget about. It involves getting rid of temporary files that collect on your harddrive from all the automatic updates your software does.
Strange that Grisoft didn't build an automatic cleanup into their freeware. Anyways:
• right-click your AVG icon to open Control Center
• highlight Update Manager
• click on Settings
• select Advanced tab
• click the delete button
