You Gotta Walk Before You Can Run
Computer Stupidities is a web page dedicated to relatively intelligent people who when placed before a computer become stupid people.
I particularly like the quote that appears on their site:
"On two occasions, I have been asked [by members of Parliament], 'Pray, Mr. Babbage, if you put into the machine wrong figures, will the right answers come out?' I am not able to rightly apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a question."

During the time I worked as a computer operator on large computer mainframes, way back when, I often compiled programs for programmers and their test run failed miserably. Often, when I had a good relationship with the programmer I would take the printout of their latest disaster and jokingly write on it, "Gargage in ...Garbage out. Try again!"
Charles Babbage, an English mathematician, philosopher, mechanical engineer and originator of a programmable computer, invented what he called the difference engine. Due to a lack of sufficient funding, the machine was only built in 1991 directly from the
original plans.
