Caledonia Under Native Attack
Federal Government Still Doing Nothing About It
A Caledonia family returned home the other evening to find natives running out the back door having broken into the empty house. The house was totally ransacked with graffiti painted on the walls, furniture slashed, and household contents strewn all over the floor.
A police investigation is underway - the same police force that has failed to properly police the Caledonia area because the federal government is morally in a dilemma about something that happened a hundred years ago, but today's Six Nation people think requires today's society needs to rectify to their immediate satisfaction.
It seems they would prefer that all white men return to their European ancestoral homeland leaving Canada to its rightful owner - them. I imagine they'd like all English folks throughout the Commonwealth to get on a plane and return to England as well. Similarly, all Jewish folk should immediately leave Israel and return to their ancestoral homes. Yup, Americans will have to vacate New York City as well as every single community throughout America - it seems the white man is living on 'native land'.
Haldimand OPP is asking the public to help with its probe of heavy damages wrought on a house bordering the Douglas Creek Estates.
About 1:30 a.m. yesterday, the owners of the home returned to find furniture upended, mirrors smashed and the walls spray painted with hate messages. They saw intruders flee out the back door, said Constable Paula Wright.
The incident sparked an impromptu rally attended by about 50 non-native Caledonia residents outside the property yesterday, who claimed natives occupying the disputed land damaged the house. Wright said the suspects were not identified and pointing fingers at this point is mere speculation.
There was a tense but brief exchange yesterday as native protesters walked within a few metres of the residents when it looked as if one of them was trying to remove a Six Nations flag from a telephone pole across from Douglas Creek Estates.
Some two dozen OPP officers formed lines on either side of Argyle Street to make sure the two groups stayed apart.
The house is owned by Dave Brown and Dana Chatwell. Brown has been quoted as saying he has "begged" the provincial government to buy the house. Chatwell was among some 30 people who tried to raise Canadian flags outside the disputed land earlier this month. Outside the home yesterday, non-native protesters walked back and forth with signs saying, "This house was ransacked, yours could be next," and "Send in the army."
Hamilton's television station, CHCH, covered the story in this four meg
video. Apologies to dialup users.
Six Nation Braves, and I use this term loosely, should be proud of themselves. It seems they will
stoop to any method to force the government to hurry up their land claim.
Blog MyyyyyAsssss wonders what it will take before the 'powers to be' get off their collective asses and end this misery for Caledonia residents.
If things continue much longer someone will be killed as the 'white man' in Caledonia has had just about all it will take and soon they will be forced to take matters into their own hands by 'circling their wagons and opening fire'.
Mr. Harper - I've publicly asked you to fire Indian and Northern Affairs Minister Jim Prentice. His department has done nothing to stop these rebels. When will you become involved?
Mr. McGuinty - You've tried, but you haven't tried hard enough. Your government tied the hands of the OPP commissioner who retreated to a new job opportunity in Ireland rather than face the humiliation forced on her. Her replacement, Mr. Julian Fantino, is a man of high morale character, but will he continue to cowtail to his superiors and allow the laws of our land to be broken by these rebels - that remains to be seen, but in the meantime something has to give and the blood of a Caledonia resident, be it a white man or native, will be on your hands.
Blog MyyyyyAsssss does not intend to incite rebellion with this blog entry. Neither does it hate Indians - it has nothing but respect for native beliefs, customs and lifestyle. Their contribution to Canada is on record and any native from any walk of life is a welcome part of my life.
There is a small group of individuals behind this Caledonia rebellion that are stirring it up so government takes action on land claims. These are the people that need to be stopped. They need to be arrested and placed in jail so everyone can get on with their life and a mutually acceptable plan can be worked out regarding land claims.
Until that happens, there will be no peace in Caledonia and violence will only continue and escalate.
