Criminal Activity - You Decide
Steve Buist and Joan Walters are award-winning journalists working with the Hamilton Spectator newspaper. I would imagine their homes have extremely good security systems built in to protect them from what I see as a criminal element that could well be out to silence them.
When millions upon millions of dollars, international trade and government contracts are involved, you can bet that the operators of such associations will stoop to any and all means to silence those that threaten their existence.
One such association is located in the Brantford area of southwestern Ontario on the Six Nations reserve. Among other things, they manufacture cigarettes and run an on-line gambling business. One venture they started up but subsequently lost was the Legal Drug business - you know, ordering drugs online. Health Canada had second thoughts on the permit they had previously issued them.
The Hamilton newspaper published
The Tobacco Kings, which you will find an eye-opener.
