Organ Donation Not Seizure
Niagara Centre NDP MPP Peter Kormos is pushing to have a law passed that presumes you wish to donate your organs on your death. If you disagree, then it's up to you to reverse this else the doctor pronouncing you dead after a horrific car accident will start cutting and harvesting for needed organs.
Nobody will argue that it is terrible that there are so many people clinging to life because they need a transplant, but this "presumed consent" approach is wrong in so many ways. It reminds me of the not too long ago way certain cable companies marketed their television stations.
