Dwight D. Eisenhower Inaugural Address
As I sat down at my 'puter last night I flicked on the television for some background noise. I don't watch a heck of a lot of tv and often when I'm blogging the tv sits blackened. Tonite I found George Bush with his State of the Union Address.While I was just looking for some background noise, I got caught up in George's speech so while I listened I did a Google search for inaugural addresses. At this point George's speech wasn't up, but it should be when you read this.

President Eisenhower was a highly respected president
and as the photo above attests - he was seen as the man who defeated Hitler. As I sat watching George Bush on television I wondered to myself how he will be portayed years from now. Will he be the man who defeated the terrorists, or the man who split apart the American nation?Forgive the pun, but Time will tell.
