Some Days You Just Ought To .........
I'm thinking that the Globe & Mail is up to their usual anti-conservative bullcrap by putting a picture of Stephen Harper alonside a pic of Ricky from Trailer Park Boys. The Conservatives obviously have the newspaper sweating with the current lead they enjoy in the polls.
The news from the pollsters is not good for Paul Martin and his band of merry men. The Conservatives are now positioning themselves to secure a majority in Ottawa.
It seems every time Paul Martin takes a step forward, he has to take three back. He had to fire a Liberal candidate out west when it was discovered the candidate had tried to bribe a NDP candidate. This happened shortly after Stephen Harper's Conservatives had to axe a western candidate because of an unreported criminal charge pending in the courts. What's going on out there in Western Canada?
The Friday edition of the Globe & Mail (front page shown) has an article talking about Liberal Mp's discussing who to replace Martin with after they lose the election.
Finally, who can forget the infamous "attack ads" that the Liberals pulled from television!
Former primeminister (little P) Jean Chretien, must be laughing in his french onion soup!
Manitoulin's independant candidate Don, must be pulling his hair out wondering if he should try to bribe the Green candidate, blackmail the Liberal, get a bunch of Hells's Angels on the trail of the Conservative, ask the NDP candidate out for drinks, or sit down and smoke some sweet grass with the First Peoples National Party candidate! (if you didn't attend the all-candidates meeting you won't understand this)
