Of interest to Northerners, the issue of "the gun registry" shows different positions by the main three parties. The Conservatives want to scrap the registry. The Liberals want to control the cost of the gun registry by capping the annual cost at $25 million per year. And the NDP supports gun control but has serious concerns about the cost of the gun registry.
I'm not a hunter but I understand the position of honest, law-abiding citizens - curb the lawless gangsters shooting up Toronto, but leave the hunters alone. Millions of taxpayer dollars are going for not with each passing day this ridiculous registry exists.
