Have You Pumped Any Gas Lately ?
Thanks to mother nature's wrath in New Orleans and the latest hurricane expected in Texas, you and I are paying a lot of money for gas. I drive a small compact and the gas stations see me less than the people with bigger cars and trucks. I know for a fact that it won't be often we take our pickup out on the road anymore if the gas prices stay where they are now.
For you price-conscious folks out there, you should know that our beloved oil companies are looking at alternative technology. Obviously we cannot be held captive indefinitely by the black gold that lives in the earth below Saudi Arabia.

My best advice is think about your trips and plan them better to get optimum gas mileage; drive the speed limit to keep your gas consumption in line; and keep your vehicle tuned up and your tire pressure at the recommended level.
