It was my intention not to blog about September 11th, on the anniversary of the terrorist attack. That changed this morning when I went to my morning read of Captain's Quarters.
Regular readers of Blog MyyyyyAsssss will know my feelings of what happened that day, but I feel that reading what Captain Ed has written will give you an American insight.
My brother was touring in the United States with his wife when the Pentagon was attacked and I knew he was in the general vicinity - I had some restless moments until I got an e-mail from him on his return home. Multiply that by about 10,000 and you would get what our neighbors south of us went through that day.
Just like 9/11 sparked Captain Ed to become active, I believe the above was the reason I started blogging. "Ed, I share your grief and outrage."
Whenever I get the urge to pack in this blog, which happens from time to time, I think back to 9/11 and fight off the urge to quit.
