Did You Ever See The Movie Catch-22 ?
The title role of Yosarrian was played by Alan Arkin, but one of the funniest characters was Major Major played by Bob Newhart. I loved the book, but found the movie just a little inferior.
It seems we have a modern day Catch-22 going on with President Bush and the Keepers at Guantanamo Bay, but nobody is laughing.
Captain Ed has the sordid details on this one. Too bad they never consulted with me on the new prison design - I have a lot of great ideas on how to house terrorists!
