Nothing Is Ever What It Seems

You can never depend on your first impressions entirely. What you see is not always what you get

Unless I'm going to my doctor or I'm going to be in a very public place, I always dress down. Yup, I've got me a closet full of old dirty and holey t-shirts that I throw over my head when I'm out and about. A well-worn pair of levis cover the bottom half of me. And I got me a dandy pair of sneakers that I slip into without undoing the laces first - they're scuffed, stained half way up with what could be cow dung and they smell like hell. If I drop by for a visit, you should insist I keep my shoes on even if you have nice carpeting in your house.

Other people dress up and always look like a million dollars in spite of the fact they never have two loonies to rub together.

I used to work with a guy who during his days off, he'd not wear any clothes. Peter was a nudist, but that's another post. A very ugly post if you know what I mean.

According to The Times Online, a lot of Americans are dressing up like Canadians.
