Some Background On Running A Lockup

I worked in Corrections for 23 years so I know of what I speak with regard what happens within a jail.

Prisoners have a code of conduct and sometimes it's not very pretty. This post from The Middle Ground demonstrates just a few tactics used by prisoners. You can't forget that guards are not dealing with normal, civilized society - these prisoners do their thing and most of them have a common tattoo printed on their knuckles stating, 'FTW' which translates to 'Fu*k The World'.

So taking that prisoner philosophy and throwing in the Terrorist mentality, you have to give Gitmo guards a round of applause for keeping control of the chaos that runs 24/7 within those cellblocks.
