A New Start

Frequent flyers on Blog MyyyyyAss will know that I've taken a few days off from posting to get a few things done:

  • Made a trip to Sudbury to get my psyche checked out by my analyst. It appears that I'm still slightly crazy, so no change there.
  • Got Selby's shots up to date so if you visit and get bit, you'll be fine.
  • Helped friends of ours from Ottawa move onto the Island. Manitoulin welcomes Gary and Anne Houston to the flock - they live a few doors down the Alkenbracks over in Billings Township.
  • Got the wife all packed and got her off on her month long (?) trip to Toronto. She's accompanying her brother and his wife while he has a much needed operation to fix up his knee.
    Yes, the dogs and I are batching for a bit so all care packages in the form of home-cooked meals are welcomed!
    This could give me the chance to write my best-selling American Canadian novel or perhaps see how high I can stack dirty dishes. Hell, I might even cut the grass while she's gone.
