Karla Revisited

Peter Worthington writes a column over at Canoe and his April 17th effort is about Karla Homolka.

The press and the nightly news are covering her pretty closely of late and CTV and Global have given us a pretty good eye-opener at the rough life those poor gals live in that Quebec cottage penetentiary. (Prison For Women for my non-canadian readers)

This whole situation falls into the lap of the crown - too often they rush into plea bargaining to avoid lengthy trials at taxpayer expenditure.
