Time To Wake Up

Manitoulin has long been a Liberal stronghold. One of Canada's prime ministers, Lester Pearson, ran out of this area. So the other political parties have had little success here.

Maybe it's time for that to change !

The bottom line is that Paul Martin's Liberals have been misusing taxpayer money. Sure, it may go back further to Jean Chretien's Liberals. No matter, Martin was Finance Minister and the man responsible for our tax money.

I know I won't be voting Liberal this time around and I urge you to do the same. A vote to another political party from Manitoulin would be a definite message to a bunch of crooks in Ottawa.

While in Mindemoya a few days ago, I was talking to someone about politics and he said the Native vote here on Manitoulin Island would stay Liberal because of all the funds they receive from Ottawa - I would hope our First Nations residents see past these crooks and do what is right.
