Ace Of Spades links to a story covered by BBC News about an arab father who killed his daughter because he "thought" she was having sex. Dear old Dad did this in front of the girl's two siblings - another generation of arabs in this family with scars that will probably never heal.
When will these people stop killing over religious beliefs? Never, I suspect, judging by the one comment on Ace's article.

How dare you westerners critize Islam and an employee in the Islamic Affairs ministry! Sharia Law is very clear on this point, sex before marriage is punishable by stoning or beheading. Her father was within his lawful role cutting her throat in front of the siblings even if she was innocent. And the fact that he didn't spend 15 minutes sawing off her head with a dull knife shows Allah's mercy! He had just returned from the pilgrimage to Mecca and was full of zeal for Allah.
