While Ive got you into a finding things or people thing, I want to introduce you to something you may not be aware of. If you got your computer with Outlook Express loaded on it and you use it for e-mail, there's something entirely different built right into Outlook Express that can keep you busy for years.
It's called Usenet, or newsgroups. It is a sort of bulletin board on the internet. The difference is with this bulletin board you can answer the bulletins you read then sit back and wait for someone to answer yours, and so on, and so on.
There is a newsgroup for, it seems, every topic under the sun. And if you really get into it you can create new ones.
Newsgroups can be utilized for various things. You can keep up on your latest rock star, or express your thoughts on Einstein's theory of relativity.
Another thing you can do is research and Google lets you do that using Google Groups. When you click on that link you'll notice the various Tabs - you can search Images, The Web, News, and More. Pretty fantastic, eh. Of course, if you are not a newbie, then all this is old hat.
