Allah Is Good    But there are times when he's quoted wrong!

God (Allah) forbid I offend anyone here be it priest, minister, altar boy, muslim, left fielders, or any runners left on base. I just finished reading Eternity Road, a great blog written by Francis Porretto. One that I try to visit daily.
It seems that tourists visiting small nations where the sun shines warmer than cold North American cities during it's winters are going there only to get laid by poor, underprivledged underaged locals; drink local rums until all hours of the night making it impossible for poor, underprivledged locals to sleep, much less make a decent living; also, these tourists have been seen dancing and carrying on. Oh, the humanity!

My question is, "Why don't these people get a fucken life?" - this writer doesn't get upset easily, but give me a break, will ya!
There are people all over the world of different colours, of different sizes and/or shapes, of different intelligence levels, and of different religious beliefs, that think it is okay to go on a vacation; have a drink or two; get up and take a whirl around the dance floor; and generally have a good time knowing that everything back at the office is running fine without you and you only get one chance a year to take off your shoes, walk in the sand, and enjoy life like you are pretty sure your Creator had intended for you.
Well, not these leading Islamic Clerics! They would have us all spread out on nice little blankies, facing the East, and chanting how good Allah is. They'd have us doing this from sunup to sundown. Take a vacation - hell no. This Allah would have you making explosives and teaching our young children how to blow up Travel Agency offices.
I don't want to offend your intelligence, and I don't want to offend your religious beliefs, but give me a break here. My idea of God, or Allah, or whatever title any other religion has used, is a God of love and peace. He's not a God that wants to subject you to misery and hate.
It seems these leading clerics think otherwise. Pity, must be a bitch going through life thinking you'll be a better man if you slit the throat of one of those Jews or American bastards that drink rum and enjoy walking on the sand.
I'm just gonna have to make time and read this Koran.
