BLOGmmmmmyasssss

There was a time when I used to equate Saskatchewan as a province out west where they grew a lot of wheat. Growing up a normal Canadian kid, I put away my share of breakfast cereals. Later in life, I heard about a CFL football team that played out of Saskatchewan. For many years after that Saskatchewn never came up much in my day to day dealings and it wasn't until I met Dwayne Levac, Gerry & Di's son, that it came up at all.
If you happen to visit The Canadian Taxpayers Federation web site you'll see that something is amiss. It seems that Saskatchewan's provincial government has created a two-tiered smoking ban. Any white man found smoking a cigarette in a public place will be charged, but First Nations folks will go unchallenged.

I don't want to sound racist here. I certainly have no ill feelings towards my fellow Canadians with native blood running through their veins, but I'm confused.
Could it be that Saskatchewan is not concerned about the good health of all its occupants, not just the white man? Am I to assume that these First Nations folks are going to be allowed to ruin their health and allowed to smoke in public places? My God, what is Premier Calvert doing here?
