More on bin Laden

It seems that I made a spelling mistake yesterday as I notice on the following material that bin doesn't capitalize his name and I foolishly referred to him as Bin Laden. Praise Allah, cut off my left index finger, shazam, polywallybigbogday.
Bin, or bin, excuse my error. If you really take exception, c'mon out of your cave and we'll meet 'man to raving lunatic' and discuss this civilly.

Lead and Gold ran an article in its blog entitled 'What is al Qaeda?' which referred to an article called 'Think Again: Al Qaeda' which can be read here. I just finished it and it is definitely worth a read

I'm still confused on this whole subject of Global Terrorism and specifically how a religious person can equate killing people to further a cause religious cause. Maybe I'm really dumb and it is true that there is some Irish blood in me and yet I have never been able to fathom the Catholics and Protestants in Ireland trying to kill eachother off. Of course, that has been going on for eons and this 'other' business is relatively new or should I say newer.

I'm trying very hard to think what would happen to me if I drove down to Ottawa and grabbed Prime Minister Martin or even the NDP Leader and tossed him into the trunk of my car. I'd then set him up in front of a camera with me and a few of the boyz standing behind him. We'd be holding pitchforks, Samurai swords, Louisville sluggers and whatever else we could get our hands on. The audio would be tweaked so nobody would recognize my voice and I would demand that Canada immediately introduce certain tax reforms that would benefit Manitoulin farmers.

Would anybody take me seriously? Would Canada pay the ransom? Would the NDP even care?
