A New Year - New Hopes and Aspirations Ah, Nope - Same Old

Slept in late the first day of the year. What else is new? We brought in the New Year over at the Lang's with Dave and Carol with our friends Gerry and Diane Levac. Nothing fancy, just a few drinks and watched the ball come down at Times Square. Regis Philbin hosted, but it wasn't the same without Dick Clark. Get well soon Dick!

Incoming mail today from my brother Mike and my friends Karen & Klaus over at Green Bay Lodge. Mike's web page needed a new count put up and Karen's site needed a minor change. Visit these two sites and see two different approaches to web design.

Kath, my better half, is busy as a bee taking down Christmas decorations. The tree is almost empty now - should have taken before / after pictures. Will do that next year, for sure. This girl can decorate!

Our dogs, Selby and Duncan, are also busy today. They got new bones from Santa and they are busy picking them apart.

Got an e-mail from my daughter Andrea who lives on the West Coast. She's seen here with her boyfriend all decked out for New Years at the Naval Ball.
Thankfully, Andrea takes after her mother in the looks department.

Andrea is very active in kayaking having been on Canada's National Team until an injury took her away from heavy workouts until she heals. If you saw the calendar going around a while back for the Olympic Team, she did the photography. She has a website you can visit here.
